Participants will learn how to set up their blog, learn terminology (eg, what is a blogroll? No, it's not edible!) , find topics to blog about and basic blog promotion techniques.

Hear from Bloggers such as Kenny Sia, Amanda Choe, Ellie Chee, Niki Cheong, Josh Lim, Jason Goh, Rames and more on diverse topics. Including: How to blog more humourously, the drama and emotions of blogging, secrets of the Malaysian blogosphere, how blogging relates to journalism and more. Get to know what makes some of your favourite bloggers tick, and ask the questions you always wanted to know.

It will then be followed up by a exciting elimination-style quiz session for a lot of participants, as well as a live blogging contest. Fantastic prizes are up for grabs, including Acer Laptops & Netbooks & more!

Kenny Sia (kennysia.com)
Celebrity blogger, noted blogger, call him whatever, we all know him as Kenny Sia. Kenny Sia of KennySia.com is arguably Malaysia’s most popular blogger, and some say in Singapore and Batam as well. He is outspoken and well-known for his humorous blog writings, Photoshopped pictures and parody videos which attract an audience of over 10,000 visitors a day. He writes on Malaysian life, ‘Ah Beng’ culture, and life’s lighter moments.

Amanda Choe (theoppositeofchocolate.blogspot.com)
At only 19, Amanda Choe is one of the most prolific bloggers in Malaysia, and an upcoming model. Her blog covers happening parties, and her glamourous life and attracts thousands of blog readers daily as well as plenty of offline attention – she is one of the 2008 Juice Cool List Top 50, and also perhaps the only model to be featured in both FHM and Clive in the same month!

We call her MissyCheerio in the blogosphere. Most people are surprised to
know that she’s currently pursuing architecture in Taylor’s University
College and working as an architect intern at the moment in one of the most
prestigious architect firm in Malaysia. The most frequently asked question when people meet her would be; why MissyCheerio? She’ll gladly reply you saying its because Chee was her surname. She calls blogs to express emotions with a twist and mixture of photography, architecture, events and the colourful walks of life. She’s appeared twice on the cover of The Star’s Youth2, and numerous other blogging related articles. Get a taste of your blogger-next-door at her blog!

Niki Cheong is a full-time journalist, part-time theatre practitioner and eternal child. He is also known as The Bangsar Boy, a reference to his fortnightly column in Malaysia’s leading English daily, The Star. His blog covers his travels abroad, the local music & theatre scene as well as events and happenings.

Josh Lim is an internet entrepreneur and paintball enthusiast who started Advertlets.com, a blog advertising network. Just 5 months old, his personal blog has already been listed as one of the Top 100 blogs in Malaysia. His blog features his ‘Adventures’, whether it’s TVC shoots, partying with celebrities/models/bloggers, weird encounters, work experience, and the screwed up side of life – which Josh tackles in his relationship blog advice column, Ask Josh!

*Eat! Play! Snap! Gadgetize! That's the 4 big words in Jason Goh's life. He was born and raised in KL and has always loved drawing cartoon characters since young. Probably that was why he got himself into the design field. Jason graduated as a Bachelor in Computing and Multimedia and has been doing design for web and mobile since then. He loves to travel, eat, play with gadgets and going for outings with friends. Blogging them and sharing with others is a part of life that he loves.Being a blogger, designer and a photographer, he has achieved quite a lot of milestones these few years. He was featured in newspapers and magazines many times. He has been featured in The Star, The Star RAGE, PC.Com, & The News Straits Times. His interest in Symbian phones and his work on the mobile blog has got himself 'social media' status from Nokia and they have actually sent Jason over to a few international Nokia events before like Nokia Showcase 08 in Sydney, Australia and the recent Nokia Developer Summit 09 in Monte Carlo.

Rames Harikrishnasamy (rames.blogspot.com)

Currently working as Art Director at Astro for 5 years and have been blogging since 3 years ago (2006 – present) . He covers events and parties and likes to hangout with friends for photoshoot and outings during weekends. Don’t forget to check out some of his photoshop works as well as behind the scenes of each of the artwork created by him. He also runs his very own tutorial blogs to share some of his tips and tricks using adobe software’s at http://adobetuts.blogspot.com/ . His blog header/designs has been featured in some of the well-known design sites such as Smashing Magazine, Blogger Buster, Dezinspiration and some other css designs portals.
